- Aeon is an online system that allows researchers to request Special Collections book and archival items all in one place.
- All existing and new Special Collections researchers need to create Aeon accounts via the "First Time Users" link above. USF-affiliated users will log in using single sign-on.
- Both USF and non-affiliated researchers can create free accounts to use Special Collections.
- Make requests at least two business days ahead of your visit so they are ready at your appointment time. Access your online account any time to add requests or cancel requests.
- All requests are made via Aeon so researchers will have a detailed history of their requests.
- Special Collections is open by appointment only. We require at least two business days' advance notice.
- After you request materials, make your appointment here. We will confirm your appointment request and contact you with any questions about your Aeon request.
- Please allow at least two days between scheduling your appointment and your visit. A member of Special Collections will email you to confirm your appointment time.
- Note: We are not notified of incoming Aeon Requests. Please schedule an appointment or email spcinfo@usf.edu for questions regarding your requests.
